As the dust settles on last week’s big mayoral debate, the team that produced it will bring you similar events in coming days, featuring the candidates for Santa Barbara’s three open city council seats.
The three debates, to be co-moderated by Josh Molina and the genial host, will be recorded over the next week in the studios of TV Santa Barbara, to air on Channel 17 and the YouTube channels of Newsmakers, the News-Press and Josh’s “Santa Barbara Talks” podcast, soon after.
Starting tomorrow, the lineup will be:
District 4. Jason Dominguez, Genevieve Taft-Vazquez, Devon Wardlow and Monte Wilson are running to represent the seat currently held by mayoral candidate Kristen Sneddon, which includes the Upper East and the Riviera. They are scheduled to meet face-to-face-to-face-to-face tomorrow.
District 5. Ian Baucke, Cevin Cathell and James Zurlinden, competing for the seat now held by mayoral contender Eric Friedman and representing Upper State, San Roque and nearby neighborhoods, are confirmed to debate next Wednesday.
District 6. Jason Carlton, Gabe Escobedo, Anabella Lehne and Alexander Stoeber, who are seeking the seat now held by Meagan Harmon, representing downtown, Oak Park and nearby neighborhoods, are set to go in the second half of a doubleheader we’ll be recording next Wednesday.
