Wow.
Fewer than 100 days into his term, a large majority of the county gives Donald Trump low marks on job performance and over half disapprove on the crucial issues of immigration and the economy
The New Yotk Times/Sienna College Poll released a new series of surveys on Friday night that show jaw-dropping levels of dissatisfaction with Donald Trump as he prepares to hit the 100-day marker of his term next week.
The new polls, conducted April 21-24, show Trump deeply underwater with voters: only 42 percent approve of his performance while 54 percent disapprove.
Perhaps most importantly, a large majority also is unhappy with what he has done on the economy — 55-to-43 percent disapprove — the issue that was most crucial in his narrow victory over Kamala Harris; even on immigration, the issue that has defined his entire political career, where he has a net negative score, 47-to-51 percent.
The fever chart above shows, by aggregating major polls, how Trump has frittered away his support in a matter of three months. The one below tells the story of where he stands today. 95 days into his term.
