Thanks for laying it out there, Jerry. When our representatives are silent on stuff like this - very bad deal. Thank you, Eric, for speaking up. The violence in this country is increasing by the day, thanks to the hatefulness of our Supreme Commander - and the only way to fight such stuff is in our own back yard. We’re all depressed/oppressed/obsessed by the news…we need backbone close to us right now; we need a City Council with backbone. A sign with guillotine/violence is NOT permissible in any city council chamber.
It is what President Obama, in his statesman like way, referred to as “the coarsening of public debate.”
I am not supportive of silence on this coarsening, which is a form of bullying, and which is a page taken directly from the playbook of the most coarse and heinous of them all: the drumpf.
So the “violence” of my SIGN is more important to report on as political violence than the ACTUAL violence these elected officials condone against the people every day? Don’t be distracted by this. The sign has a ballot box as part of the guillotine, but that just gets ignored as well right?
The guillotine is a symbol of republican [not the U.S political party] tyranny where the bourgeois slew the old order to gain power for themselves. The same bourgeois who gun down peasants in the War in Vendee. "It has a ballot box!", you people are pathetic.
Democracy is the worst form of government, it is especially prone to entrenching corruption, has no concern for truth or justice, and people - led by their own irrational desires promote degeneracy and moral decay. "A ballot box" - this means nothing, nowhere does this indicate prudent or moral.

As you and I both know you have targeted Mayor Randy Rowse as the ONLY rep on the Dias with the courage to stand up to you and disruptors determined to engage in civil disobedience. You demand money, resources, and have already succeeded in capturing the Police Chief with her stand down orders.
It was a shameful day. How afraid of their own supporters are some of these Council members? They can’t bring themselves to condemn something akin to the signs of January 6th. I think this Council, and probably the next, will have a hard time keeping really talented staff. Who they continually throw under the bus.
